About Imaam Maaz Waheed
Imaam Maaz Waheed is a Quran and Arabic teacher based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. He has served as an Imam, teacher, Head of Islamic Centre, and pastoral lead, with years of experience supporting students, families, youth, and new Muslims.
His studies include Hifz of the Holy Quran, Arabic Language, Quranic Studies, Prophetic Traditions, Islamic Theology, Jurisprudence, Islamic History, and related Islamic sciences. He has also led Taraweeh prayers in multiple UK cities for over ten years and has supported reverts through teaching, mentoring, and community guidance.
At Dar Al Hikmah, Imaam Maaz teaches with patience, clarity, and precision, helping students build confidence in Quran reading, Arabic understanding, and proper recitation.
